  • In addition to the risk of stagnation of water volume in the event of irregular use, regular maintenance of the machine is mandatory to avoid bacteriological contamination.

This is in contrast to the carboy fountain, which requires the production of a bottle for every liter of water consumed, the mains-connected water cooler produces little or no waste in the long term and has more interesting practical and ecological qualities.

Advantages of a network water cooler

  • A practical solution: low-maintenance network water coolers since it doesn't need to be refilled with water. What's more, its water flow rate is infinite, and the quantity of water it can dispense varies from one model to another.
 
  • An economical solution: mains water is very affordable. A much lower price in any case than mineral or spring water in carboys. 
 
  • An environmentally-friendly solution: since you no longer need to order, have delivered, store and recycle cylinders the network fountain has a very limited impact on the environment

Disadvantages of a mains water cooler

The main disadvantage of mains-connected fountains is the need to connect them to the mains. This is a one-off operation that needs to be carried out by a professional.

It's a mistake to think that a connected water cooler offers poorer quality water. Thanks to an activated carbon filtration system, the water regains its purity and is free from the unpleasant tastes associated with chlorine in particular.

The network-connected fountain requires fewer consumables and less maintenance, making it the best solution for both public and private establishments. The mains-connected fountain is also a more practical and responsible solution in the medium and long term.
