What is the ACS standard for our water coolers?

La ACS standard is essential both for us, who demand certified water coolers, and for the buyers and consumers who use them. We'd like to explain what the ACS standard is, the most important standard to hold for the water quality.

The ACS standard in a nutshell

The Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire (ACS) is a conformity guarantee for equipment in contact with water intended for human consumption. It has been compulsory in France since December 2006.

The ACS standard is mainly issued to manufacturers, but it is also mandatory for establishments open to the public.

To obtain this certification, the product must comply with the following requirements rules rigorously set by the french state. The certificate is then issued by one of the laboratories authorized by the Minister of Health.

Our ACS-certified water coolers

From connection to the water supply network, right up to the distribution panel, Fontaineo water meets this standard. This is proof of the sanitary conformity of every water cooler produced in our workshop in Montbéliard, France.

In addition to obtaining this standard, Fontaineo also implements periodic maintenance to ensure high-quality water for the consumer. These include, for example, regular disinfection of pipes, cleaning of the technical area and ventilation elements, and replacement of UV lamps and filters.
